dr Jeff Cheng-Lung Lee

Dr. Cheng-Lung Lee is an associate professor of forensic science at Taiwan Police College. He holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering and Environmental Sciences from National Tsing Hua University and a Master's degree in Forensic Science from Central Police University. He has 18 years of experience as a forensic scientist at the Hsin-Chu City Police Bureau, where he served as the head of the department and investigated hundreds of crime scenes. He was a research scholar at the University of New Haven and a visiting scientist at the Connecticut Department of Public Safety, Division of Scientific Services. He is also an institute scholar of the Henry C. Lee Institute of Forensic Sciences, University of New Haven. He has taught and planned crime scene centers at Qatar Police College for three years. Dr. Lee's research interests include crime scene investigation and development of new techniques for forensic science. He has published 81 journal articles, 17 book chapters, 117 conference papers, and 2 patents. He has received 20 awards, including 5 teaching awards. He is passionate about popularizing the concept of scientific evidence and has given hundreds of lectures in universities, high schools, and companies.
